Přezimovací objekty pro jelení zvěř (Cervus elaphus) na území Krkonošského národního parku
Chromčák, Vít
This bachelor thesis deals with the winter objects for red deers in area of KRNAP. There is evaluated a number of red deers closed in these objects against the spring counted states. To evaluate real percentage of closed red deers was made regressive calculation of unlisted does according to fawns. Later in this work there is evaluated an influence of winter object shift to a number of closed red deer population.
Changes of land cover above the tree line in Krkonoše National Park based on Landsat data

CHANGES OF LAND COVER ABOVE THE TREE LINE IN KRKONOŠE NATIONAL PARK BASED ON LANDSAT DATA Abstract This study evaluates land cover changes in the area above the tree line in Krkonoše Mts. National Park. The stress is put on the changes of Pinus mugo shrub. Two methods of change detection based on Landsat data in four time horizons from the eighties up to now were tested (years 1984, 1992, 2002 and 2013). The first method was classification of scenes with the Maximum Likelihood Classifier individually and evaluation of changes based on their overlay. Overall accuracies from the oldest scene were 86,04 %, 88,44 %, 86,91 % and 86,43 %. The second method evaluates detection of change above one dataset that consists of scenes for all the time horizons. Overall accuracies were from the oldest 86.63 %, 88.64 % and 86.11 %. The second method was more appropriate for this study of land cover changes. On the map results there can be seen thinning of Pinus mugo scrub (between the years 2002 and 2013, 1984 and 1992) as well as its natural thickening and spreading. Key words KRNAP, tundra, land cover, change detection, Landsat
Possibilities of object-based classification for selected biotopes above tree-line in the Krkonoše Mts. National Park detection
Jakešová, Lucie ; Červená, Lucie (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
Possibilities of object-based classification for selected biotopes above tree-line in the Krkonoše Mts. National Park detection Abstract The bachelor thesis is focused on the object-based classification of vegetation above the tree-line in the Krkonoše Mts. National Park using orthophoto with near infrared band and spatial resolution of 12.5 cm. Orthophoto was acquired in summer 2012. The classification legend was compiled by botanist of the national park. Software ENVI 5.1 was used for object-based classification using the field data. It provides two approaches to classification - Example-based and Rule-based. The overall accuracy of the best classification result was 75.97 % for 13 classes. Keywords: object-based classification, KRNAP, biotopes above tree-line, aerial optical scanner
Possibilities of object based image analysis for monitoring of meadow vegetation and management in the Krkonoše Mountains National Park
Dorič, Roman ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
Possibilities of object based image analysis for monitoring of meadow vegetation and management in the Krkonoše Mountains National Park Abstract The main aim of the thesis was to evaluate possibilities of Object Based Image Analysis (OBIA) of WorldView-2 satellite image data and aerial optical scanner for meadow vegetation and managment types classification in Krkonoše Mountains National Park. The classification was based on legend prepared by botanist of the national park. The second goal was to compare classification accuracy of Object Based Image Analysis and neural net classification method that was used by Pomahačová (2012) for the same area and the same WorldView-2 data. OBIA for meadow vegetation was conducted using SVM algorithm and "Decision Tree" algorithm. The classification accuracy was estimated using reference points from the field. The thesis puts the requirements (optimal parameters and conditions) for successfull object based classification of mountain meadow vegetation into a new perspective. Key words: Object based classification, meadows, WorldView-2, aerial optical scanner, SVM, KRNAP
Impacts of FSC Certification System Application on Forestry Economics in Krkonoše National Park Management
Brožová, Lucie ; Šišák, Luděk (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
Krkonoše National Park (KRNAP) is in the Czech Republic the only national park with the FSC certificate, which means that forests are managed by an ecologically friendly way. Therefore, the aim of bachelor thesis was to find out economic impacts to the KRNAP forestry economics after introduction of the FSC certification system. For these purposes, there were selected two periods, namely the years 2006-2008 as a period before the introduction of the certification system, and after the certification introduction in 2009-2011. There were monitored various indicators, and presented in the forms of tables and graphs that clearly showed results of the investigation. Based on comparison the two periods, there were found insignificant economic differences. This was supported substantially by the fact that KRNAP Administration began with the ecological friendly management of forests in the Park already in 2003 because they realized the need of change in the management.
